I Kevin Pressland of The Organic Gardeners have amalgamated the business with Kings Oak Nursery (Stoneage). I and Frank Hawkins (Kings Oak Nursery) have together an extensive knowledge of horticulture and can provide the following services to a high standard with an emphasis on an Organic/Permaculture approach plus plants from the nursery.
Services Provided
Horticulture Consultancy (emphasis on organic/permaculture)
Garden Maintenance/Development/ Design
Pleaching Service
Pond/Lake Construction
Rainwater Saving Systems
Natural Swimming Pools
Orchard Creation/Renovation ( where possible local apple/pear/plum plants will be encouraged in new orchards or adding to existing orchards)
Woodland Management or Creation (creation using native plants ideally of true local provenance)
Wildflower Meadows (either spring or summer meadows or a combination of both using native specie meadow plants and bulbs)
Ornamental Meadows (use of ornamental grasses and ornamental herbaceous perennials to create to create florist tic meadows of un-native species predominantly)
On the nursery we will be producing Herbs/Vegetable plants/Soft and Top Fruit plants and Ornamentals with an emphasis on Organic Production. Other plants will be sourced locally or ideally sourced from UK growers supporting UK Horticulture.
The nursery can also supply natural fencing products e.g. Hazel Hurdles, Willow Hurdles etc helping to support good woodland management of UK woodlands and enhancing habitats for flora and fauna.
These and other products will be available for viewing either at the site in Crews Hill, Enfield or on the website in the near future.
We also provide a Hard landscaping Service.
