Any plant that can be grown outdoors in the area where you live can be considered a "garden plant". Though some may be too large to fit in to your particular garden!

"Garden plants" includes anything you might grow for flowers, foliage, structure or ground cover. These may be officially classified as annual, biennial, perennial, woody / shrub, deciduous, evergreen, tropical, alpine or otherwise.
